Hello! My name is Carrie Cochran, and I am a freelance editor and copywriter specializing in the Travel Industry. Here’s a little bit about me:
I completed my professional copywriting certification through AWAI–one of the best copywriting organizations in the world! Prior to that, I earned my bachelor’s degree in English with a Professional Writing concentration from Pensacola Christian College.
During college, I interned at Study Breaks Magazine and served as an editor for the Fountains literary journal.
Now, I run my own freelance business here at Cochran Writing and Editing, providing travel clients of all sizes with copywriting materials, editing services, and UGC content. I’ve worked with a variety of businesses, from a film tourism blog to New York County tourism boards and travel advisors! With every client, I ensure their copy is flawless and their message is clear.
When I’m not working, I like to travel to new places, take photos, and find new content for my blog, Carried Away Travels. (Formerly known as The Mandala Traveler)
I feature various trips, events, and travel tips, many of which are budget-friendly. You’ll find guides to amusement parks and foreign cities, hiking destinations, unique hotel stays, and full-day itineraries for exploring gorgeous towns.
